Hello friends,
It’s surprising to have just over 50 subs with only one post, made months ago. I’m sure I will eventually continue that thread, but this post is what people call “housekeeping.” A few updates and a bare minimum plan for the future.
For now I’m planning to making Substack my main social media platform. In a fit of frustration I deleted most of my instagram images, and I haven’t been engaging on there in awhile. I will add relevant updates here, new work as it emerges, and any other writing that comes up along the way. No promises on consistency.
The Abraxian Cosmogram is still ongoing. Since I accepted the commission we sold our apartment in Bulgaria, traveled with our then one year old son to the US, stayed four months with family, and came back to Bulgaria where we are trying to buy a house. The last six months have been a constant state of transition and unsettledness.
For those following the symbolism of Abraxas, the idea of thresholds and transition may be significant. The theme is certainly imprinted into the drawing in a jarringly experiential sense.
Galahad and I briefly discussed making prints available once the drawing is finished, so look out for that in the future.
I have some original drawings for sale that you won’t find on my website. For details please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Prices are reasonable and they’re shipped from the US.
Though life rarely goes as planned, I anticipate to be able to engage in more creative work in the coming months, when we get settled down. Everything has felt like it’s on pause for a long time, and I’m ready to get going.
Until then, thank you for being here.
